Ken Griffin is an American hedge fund manager and CEO of the financial services company Citadel LLC. According to Forbes, his personal fortune amounted to $43 billion in 2024. Among his possessions is a 94-meter yacht. However, it doesn't fit on the property on Star Island where the billionaire is building. Star Island is located on an artificial island in Biscayne Bay, Florida.
To keep the expensive vessel, worth approximately $250 million, safely moored and in good working order, he is having a marina built along the deep channels of the Port of Miami, as reported by Bloomberg .

The more than 1.5-acre (approximately 15,000 square meter) marina will house four buildings on a site at the tip of Terminal Island at 120 MacArthur Causeway. The marina will accommodate a total of nine vessels
"This is almost an extension of his residence, where his larger boats can dock," former Miami Beach Mayor Neisen Kasdin is quoted as saying.

At 119 meters, Mark Zuckerberg's mega-yacht "Launchpad" tops them all. The 300-million-dollar vessel is currently en route across the Atlantic – loaded with approximately 400 tons of fuel. The destination is apparently to overwinter in warmer waters, possibly in the Canary Islands.
