Eligibility

The Future Human Open™ welcomes corporate teams, executives, entrepreneurs, investors, business owners, golf club members and international amateur golfers.

Players may enter as individuals or as part of a registered corporate team. Companies may register one or more teams and may enter one to four delegates per team.

Companies registering one to three delegates will, where possible, be matched with companies from the same Future Human™ Industry Cup to form a complete Corporate Team.

Playing Format

The tournament is played over Friday and Saturday, with the Champions Pro-Am on Sunday.

Friday hosts Round 1 of the Individual Stableford Championship and the Corporate Team competition. Saturday hosts the Final Round and determines the Overall Individual Champion and Overall Corporate Team Champion.

The standard corporate team format is Stableford with the best two scores counting on each hole. The Sunday Champions Pro-Am is played as an 18-hole Texas Scramble with three corporate players and one complimentary PGA professional or amateur golfer of Handicap Index 10.0 or below.

Rules of Golf

The Future Human Open™ follows the Rules of Golf as published by The R&A and the USGA, together with any local rules established by the host golf club and the tournament committee.

Local rules are issued with the starting sheet and are displayed at the first tee and in the players' area. Where a conflict arises, local rules take precedence for that destination.

Players are responsible for knowing the rules, marking and returning their scorecard correctly, and raising any question of doubt with a rules official before signing.

Distance-measuring devices are permitted unless a local rule states otherwise. Devices measuring slope, wind or other conditions affecting play are not permitted.

Handicap Policy

Players of different skill levels are welcome.

Some competitions require an official handicap, while others are open to all golfers regardless of handicap. Specific requirements, if applicable, are published for each tournament.

Where a handicap is required, players must hold a current Handicap Index issued by a recognised national golf federation, golf club or handicapping authority, and must present verification at registration.

Playing handicaps are calculated by the tournament committee using the course and slope ratings of the host venue. Handicap allowances for team formats are announced with the official format for each destination.

Players without an official handicap may be admitted to open categories, non-handicap challenges and the Premium Lifestyle Expo programme, and may be assigned a provisional handicap at the committee's discretion.

Dress Code

Players are expected to observe traditional golf attire and to respect the dress code of the host golf club, which takes precedence at all times.

Pace of Play

A pace-of-play policy applies to every round and is published with the starting sheet for each destination.

The standard target time is four hours thirty minutes for a full field in fourball or team format, adjusted by the committee according to course length, field size and starting method.

Groups are expected to keep pace with the group ahead. A group out of position may be timed by a rules official and asked to make up ground.

Rules officials may issue a warning, apply a timing procedure and, where a group remains out of position, apply a penalty in accordance with the Rules of Golf.

Prizes & Awards

Prizes are presented at the Championship Awards Evening on Saturday and at the Pro-Am Awards Ceremony on Sunday. Winners are expected to attend in person; unclaimed prizes may be reallocated at the committee's discretion.

Ties are decided by countback over the last nine, six, three and final hole unless a play-off is announced for a specific destination.

Registration Terms

Registration is completed online. Places are limited and allocated on a first-registered basis.

All entries are confirmed by email. Player names, company names, Industry Cup selection and handicap details must be submitted before the published entry deadline for each destination.

Ticket sales close two days before the event. After this deadline no local ticket sales or ticket changes are available, as all sales are handled online only.

Postponement

In the event of a postponement, tickets remain valid and are automatically transferred to the new event date with the same benefits and access rights. As the event is postponed and not cancelled, no refund is provided.

Transfers

If a ticket holder is unable to attend, they may request a transfer to another person or contact the event management team regarding cancellation options. Requests must be submitted at least two days before the event date.

Substitutions

Corporate teams may substitute a player at no charge up to the entry deadline, subject to any handicap requirement for the destination.

Weather Policy

Play may be suspended for dangerous weather, course conditions or any circumstance affecting player safety.

The decision to suspend and resume play rests with the tournament committee and the host golf club. On suspension, players must stop play immediately, mark their position and seek shelter. Play resumes only on the committee's signal.

Where a round cannot be completed, the committee may reduce the number of holes, shorten the competition, declare a result on completed holes or restructure the format. A minimum of nine completed holes is normally required for a round to stand.

Where play is not possible on any day, the affected competition may be cancelled or rescheduled. The Premium Lifestyle Expo, Global Summit, business programme and evening events continue as scheduled.

Code of Conduct

Players are expected to follow the principles of sportsmanship, respect and golf etiquette throughout the event.

Participants shall respect fellow players, officials, staff, volunteers, exhibitors and guests, and shall respect the host golf club, its members, its course and its facilities.

Care of the course is expected at all times — repairing pitch marks, replacing divots, raking bunkers and observing all course signage.

Mobile devices should be silenced on course and used discreetly. Photography and filming are welcome, but must not disturb play.

Abusive language, club throwing, deliberate damage to the course or property, and any form of harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated.

The Future Human Open™ is a business networking tournament. Participants are encouraged to network professionally and courteously, and to respect the time and privacy of fellow attendees.
