Suncadia is a mountain resort community located about 80-90 miles east of Seattle in the Cascade Mountains, near Cle Elum, Washington. The resort sits on 6,400 acres of land, of which only about 2,000 acres are developed. The rest is preserved as open space, forest, river corridors etc.
The area’s history includes indigenous heritage (Yakama), mining, forestry, and pioneers. The resort has built a reputation over ~25 years (as of 2025) for combining outdoor adventure, nature, and resort-community living. Suncadia is committed to conservation, sustainable building practices, and preserving the natural surroundings.
