Sean Simpson started his career as a player with the playing fort he Ottawa 67’s from 1976 until 1981. In 1980 he was drafted in the NHL Entry Daft in the 7th round as the 141th player by the Chicag
o Blackhawks. After a couple of years in the minor leagues he came to Europe.
