Every house in this collection is a five-star property that has passed the ELIXIR standard on site. Choose by country, or by where you want to wake up — the sea, a lake, the mountains, or somewhere with nothing around it at all.
The standard
A five-star classification is the entry requirement, not the qualification. Members are audited on site against the published ELIXIR standard — clinical governance, spa scale and staffing, water quality, and the parts of hospitality that only show up when a guest is unwell at two in the morning.
Roughly one applicant in four is admitted. Members are re-audited every two years, and houses that lapse come off this page the same week.
