About Alpha Academy
Alpha Academy is a public association (non-profit organization) formed under Spanish Law 7/1997 and Organic Law 1/2002. The association is dedicated to promoting education, science, research, public health, environmental conservation, and international cultural understanding.
The organization supports the principle: "To do good - Best of all"
The purpose of Alpha Academy is to:
- Encourage and promote public education, especially for children with high IQs and exceptional talent
- Support gifted children, adolescents, and adults
- Develop independent, objective, and rational thinking
- Assist people with specific professional skills in training and personal development
- Promote sustainability and environmental awareness
- Provide solutions and education for all
Alpha Academy performs a wide range of activities including:
- Conferences, seminars, and debates
- Publications and magazines
- Interactive learning programs on the Internet
- Courses and schools
- Exhibitions

- Awareness campaigns

The main field of activity is the registered office, but activities may extend locally, nationally, and internationally.
Membership
All persons over 18 years of age may become members of the association. To join, you must submit a written request to the Board, which will decide on your application at its next meeting.
Minors may also be members, but they have no voting rights and cannot elect or be elected to the Board.
Alpha Academy has three types of members:
- Active Members: Those over 18 who are dedicated to achieving the association's purposes. They have full voting rights in the General Assembly.
- Passive Members: Those who support the ideology of the association. They have the right to speak but no voting rights.
- Honorary Members: Appointed by the General Meeting for individuals who have rendered outstanding services. They have freedom of speech, petition rights, and voting rights, and are exempt from contributions.
Members have the following rights:
- Attend and vote at meetings of the General Assembly
- Elect or be elected to positions of representation
- Participate in the government and management of the association
- Receive information about activities
- Make use of common services
- Be part of working groups
- Own a copy of the statutes
- Consult the books of the association
- Request explanations on administration and management
Members are obligated to:
- Commit to the goals of the association and actively participate
- Support the association financially through membership fees and contributions
- Fulfill statutory obligations
- Abide by agreements adopted by the governing bodies
Membership can end due to:
- Voluntary resignation (submitted in writing to the Board)
- Non-payment of prescribed fees
- Failure to comply with statutory obligations
- Expulsion by resolution of the Board
- Death
Resignation must be communicated within three months before the end of the fiscal year.
Governance & Structure
The General Assembly is the sovereign body of the association. All members are part of it by inalienable right and decide matters by majority vote.
The General Assembly meets in regular session at least once a year (between January and June). Extraordinary sessions may be convened by the Board or when requested by at least 10% of members.
The Board of Directors governs, administers, and represents the association. It comprises:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Additional Members
Members of the Board are elected by the General Assembly for a period of five years and may be re-elected. Board members may not carry out any paid activity for the association.
A two-thirds majority of those present is required for:
- Removal of members
- Modification of the statutes
- Dissolution of the association
- Establishing a federation with similar associations
- Integration into an existing federation
Regular resolutions are taken by simple majority vote.
Financial & Donations
Alpha Academy's economic resources come from:
- Membership fees set by the General Assembly
- Government or private grants
- Donations, inheritances, or legacies
- Income from the association's own property or activities
The association has a foundational capital of β¬100. The financial year coincides with the calendar year and ends on December 31.
Yes! Alpha Academy accepts donations to support its charitable activities. You can:
- Make a one-time donation
- Set up recurring contributions
- Support specific projects (Children, Arts, Animal Protection, Environment, etc.)
All profits are excluded and funds may only be used for lawful purposes aligned with the association's goals.

Yes. Alpha Academy is a registered public association (non-profit organization) in Spain.
- Members cannot obtain any personal benefit from the association
- No person may benefit from expenses outside the association's purpose
- All profit is excluded
- Upon dissolution, surplus assets go to another non-profit organization
