Markus Babbel was born in 1972 and is a native of Munich. He started his football career back in 1979 at TSV Gilching-Argelsried. In 1991, he signed his contract with FC Bayern Munich. This was follow
ed by various clubs in the Bundesliga before he moved to Liverpool FC in 2000. In his career, he was able to celebrate various championship titles and successes. In 2007 Markus Babbel ended his career as a footballer, but remained active as a coach until 2020. Today, he is a sought-after TV pundit on Sky, RTL, Servus-TV and Sat1, among others.
