The first polo ground in Sotogrande was laid out in 1965. Few could imagine at that time that this would be the beginning of today’s established and ever- growing enthusiasm for polo in Sotogrande,
attracting more and more fans each year. Santa María Polo Club has been gaining status ever since, becoming one of the best clubs in the world, with its seven polo grounds, four of them World Class. The club facilities designed to welcome thousands of spectators during the summer, are ready to be used the rest of the year for corporate and private events. Hence it is an emblematic spot in Sotogrande and the Costa del Sol, and landmark of elegance and glamour.
